Start the celebration gathered around the fire. Soak in the warmth of a Come Alive Outside campfire, enjoy s’mores and hot drinks, meet the snow sculptors behind the magic, and ease into the event with good people, good vibes, and that just-lit-the-fire feeling.
An incredible showcase of artistry and skill at the Rutland Winterfest Vermont National Qualifier Snow Carving Competition starts Friday, February 20th, and continues through Sunday, February 22nd. Talented teams will transform massive 4-foot by 8-foot blocks of snow into breathtaking masterpieces! Spectators are invited to watch these creations take shape throughout the weekend, culminating in an exciting final event during the Chili Cookoff on Sunday.
